We spent a fun weekend with our dear friends John and Lauri in the Mountains of NC. We hiked the trail on the property which was just beautiful and used the walking stick's Dad had given to us years ago they came in handy with the terrain there. Later when we were ready to eat but not in the mood to cook John provided "spears" for roasting Hot dogs over the fire. Seriously these things could have been weapons but made the Best Dogs! Thanks John. We played a few games like "Loaded Questions" (see pic) and later "Battle of the Sexes" which actually lasted two days. Lauri and I teamed up and well, just like when we play "Catch Phrase" on the boat we WON! We did enjoy the Hot Tub one night but the Fireplace inside and the fire in the pit John kept going for us were my favorite. How can you go wrong with the Mountains, a fire and people you love?
